About The Author

C A Kincaid

I write stories brewed with a mix of truth and fiction—where friendships are tested, identities shift, and the search for belonging takes center stage. My novels blend heart, tension, and the everyday struggles that make us human.

Hello, reader

A lifelong lover of stories

I’m a wife, mom of two (plus two fur babies), and a lifelong lover of stories.

My passion for books and writing began in childhood, when I filled notebooks with poetry and short stories.

The story so far

From notebooks to novel

  1. Where it began

My passion for books and writing began in childhood, when I filled notebooks with poetry and short stories.

  2. Education

I earned my degree in English, and while I once thought I’d spend my life teaching, my path eventually led me to a second degree in web and graphic design.

  3. Today

Today, I work full time as a web designer and developer, but writing remains one of my greatest joys.

  4. Off the page

When I’m not at my desk, I love reading, listening to true crime podcasts, crafting and painting, and spending time with my husband, kids, and pets—usually while binge-watching cop dramas or cooking competitions.

The writing journey

Stories brewed with truth and fiction

“It started as a joke,” Kincaid shares. “Whenever something wild happened in college, I’d tell my friends, ‘I’m putting this in my book.’ Eventually, I started writing—not because I thought anyone would read it, but because it became my therapy. It helped me process the experiences I was living through.”
